Small business websites · Red Deer, Alberta

Your business.
Your frigging
website.

You do the work. Your website should help people find it, understand it, and get in touch.

I’m William J. Crowell, the person behind Built.bid and Your Frigging Link. I kept building things to solve my own problems. Then I realised other people have problems too. Excellent business discovery.

A conversation first. Scope and price agreed before work begins.

The work / the reason it exists

Had a problem.
Built a thing.

These are my own projects.
The feature lists came later.

Games, movies, and a phone that knows when work arrives.

The maths got out of hand

StarMuff + 1v1.nz

I wanted to build a maths game. It grew into StarMuff: Unwritten Skies, an online open-world multiplayer game. The mini-games got their own home at 1v1.nz.

One cold. One very long detour.

Movies.loan

I was ill. Someone suggested watching movies. I hadn’t watched television in ages and didn’t know where to look, so I built a movie-finding site in a day. A perfectly normal way to rest.

The form should reach a person

Enquiry → phone notification

I built lead notifications for a local business. I now use that idea here: your enquiry reaches my private inbox and alerts my phone. Built.bid and MoneyLaundering.dev share the same desk. I remain one person.

A practical first project

Start with what
your business
actually needs.

C$300 for a consultation and basic website, usually 3–5 days once content and scope are ready. Extra pages and fine-tuning are an optional +C$250. Fixes and custom tools get their own quote.

Let’s work out the scope
01

A page with a purpose

Explain your offer in plain language. Give visitors the information they need to make a decision.

02

Comfortable on a phone

Readable text, sensible navigation, and buttons people can actually tap.

03

A working contact path

A call, message, or inquiry form suited to how you handle new customers. We agree where inquiries go before launch.

04

A plan for going live

We agree on content, domain, hosting, costs, and handover as part of the scope. You know what you’re getting.

How it works

Small steps. Clear decisions.

  1. 01 / Tell me

    What should your site do?

Share your business, your current website if you have one, and the action you want visitors to take.

  2. 02 / Agree

    Set the scope and price.

We talk through what’s needed, what’s included, and a realistic timeline before starting.

  3. 03 / Build

    Review it. Then launch.

See the page, try the contact path, and make sure the essentials are ready before it goes live.

Your next step

Let’s give your
business a
good front door.

Tell me what is getting in the way. This form sends straight to my private enquiry inbox and alerts my phone. No copy-and-paste obstacle course.

No commitment to start.

This is an inquiry, not a booking or payment. We’ll agree scope and price together.

A few good questions.

How much will it cost?

Consultation and a basic website are C$300, usually delivered in 3–5 days once the content and scope are ready. Additional pages and fine-tuning are an optional +C$250. Repairs and custom tools are quoted separately. We agree on deliverables, running costs, and timing before starting; sending an enquiry is free.

Do I need an existing website?

No. You can start with your business name, the services you offer, and a way for customers to reach you. If you have a site already, share the link so we can talk about what needs improving.

Can you help with something bigger?

Tell me what you have in mind. Shops, memberships, and custom applications need their own scope. The starting offer here is a focused business website.

Where does my project brief go?

It is saved in William’s private enquiry inbox at MoneyLaundering.dev, which also handles his email and phone alerts. Both websites reach the same person. Your name, contact details, and project brief are used to respond to your request. Please don’t include passwords or other sensitive information. To ask for your enquiry to be deleted, email notacop@moneylaundering.dev with your receipt reference.

Like what I’m making?

Fund the next questionable idea.

Optional monthly support for my music, games, tools, and creative work. The domain-buying restraint is still in development.
